I got seven exciting emails the other day.
The first was a note telling me Ceeva had made the Pittsburgh Business Times “Fast 50” list of fastest-growing private companies. The list recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in the Pittsburgh region. All the companies on the list saw growth of 30 percent or more over the past three years – remarkable given the troubled economy and uncertainty of the past few years. Ceeva founder Jerry Shafran and I are so proud to be on this list, especially given how challenging the past few years have been for our community.
I’m happy to say that our client satisfaction is keeping pace with our growth. The other six exciting emails were Support Desk survey responses from Ceeva clients. Five stars across the board. Comments like “I always know I can count on you” and “Your team always treats our people so well.”
It’s important to Jerry and to me that these scores stay high while our business grows. We believe we can help more and more Pittsburgh organizations modernize their IT and use it to serve their strategic mission. And we believe that to continue to grow, we have to stay true to “The Ceeva Way.”
So what is “The Ceeva Way” and what can our clients expect as we continue to grow?
We partner with our clients in a shared mission to optimize technology, and we know there is more than one way to succeed in that work. That’s why we never compel a client to purchase our preferred products. Instead, we meet each client where they are and tailor every aspect of the engagement to their needs – from billing models, to products, to priorities, to the terms of service.
This approach requires a lot of agility from the Ceeva staff. Leaders here do everything we can to help our team feel the love and love their jobs.
There’s no question that growth brings change and a bit of disruption. But, we’re committed to making sure our clients never feel like “just a number.” Jerry and I are proud of the way we’ve grown so far – by taking care of our clients and our team. That approach has earned us a 94 percent client retention rate and led to an incredible 8.8-year average tenure for our staff. We can’t wait to bring the Ceeva Way to more Pittsburgh area businesses and nonprofits, and we’re so proud of the recognition from the Pittsburgh Business Times. Mostly, we’re grateful to the clients and staff who have made this growth possible.
