If your organization works closely with Ceeva, you may know the names and faces of our employees. However, there’s much more to learn about the people who help Ceeva operate smoothly. That’s why we’re running a series of employee spotlights.
Today, we’ll get to know more about Frank Tibbitt. He sat down to talk with us about his favorite Pittsburgh places, his dream vacation spot and what he loves about working at Ceeva.
Let’s learn more about Frank!
Hello, my name is Frank Tibbitt.
I am a Senior Technical Service Specialist and Backups and Monitoring Administrator at Ceeva.
It is my responsibility to work as a member of our Technical Support Team to address tickets and calls for a variety of issues our clients may face. In addition to working as desktop support it is also my responsibility to monitor and maintain our clients' backups and disaster recovery (DR) systems.
I also work with our Senior Engineers to deploy and implement any backup and DR products. I work closely with our backup vendors to address any issues with their products and also monitor client device alerts to report any issues to our Senior Engineers.
Come this October, I will have been with Ceeva for five years. Prior to Ceeva, I worked for a Medical Solutions company as an IT Support Specialist. I was the main support for the employees and the medical clients they served. I set up accounts in the host environment and installed any scanning software so clients could scan medical documents into the EMR system. I also participated in a number of office moves and closures during that time which including moving our servers, setting them up at new office locations or completely decommissioning them.
I left for Ceeva when the company shrank to the point where there were only about 7 employees left in the Pittsburgh area. Basically by the end of my tenure, I was the only remaining IT employee for the Pittsburgh office.
Ceeva may be the best IT Support environment I’ve had the opportunity to work in. There is a comradery in this office that I cannot describe and the knowledge base in the office is second to none. There are no egos. Everyone is here to help support each other and our clients. There are good days and bad days but we, as a team, always manage to get through it.
One surprising thing that stands out was being stationed at one of our clients almost every day for close to 6 months acting as their direct support due to a loss of one of their employees. We now support that customer completely.
I would recommend checking out PNC Park. The view form that stadium is my favorite. I would also recommend they hit the Cultural District and Squirrel Hill for really great restaurants. I recommend Emporio “a Meatball Joint” in the Cultural District and Ramen Bar and Hidden Harbor in Squirrel Hill. There is also the Terminal in the Strip District. I recommend the Novo Asian Food Hall. They are some of me and my wife’s favorite restaurants. I also recommend Checking out the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Oakland and the Heinz History Center downtown.
Oh jeez, I have a very eclectic taste in music. I was a huge Disturbed fan before they stopped recording. I haven’t really paid too much attention since they got back together. I’ve really enjoyed 21 Pilots recently. Got to see them in concert with their Blurryface tour. They were a really good live band. Love Frank Zappa too. Got to see Zappa Play Zappa live and Project Object a number of times.
Japan. My wife and I have always want to go to Japan to experience the culture and sites.
